About AI Baltics

The short version

AI Baltics is a one-person project (for now) with a simple mission: make AI tools accessible and practical for people in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

I’m Dmitrijs Finaskins — a software developer based in Riga with a background in Java and Spring Boot. After spending the past couple of years diving deep into AI tools and integrating them into real projects, I noticed something: there’s plenty of AI content out there, but almost none of it speaks to the reality of working in the Baltics.

So I decided to fix that.

Why the Baltics?

We have a strong tech community across all three countries, but most AI education content is aimed at Silicon Valley or London. The tools are the same, but the context is different — our business culture, our regulations, our market size, our starting points.

AI Baltics exists to bridge that gap. Everything here is written with our region in mind, in English so it’s accessible across all three countries.
